Going above and beyond expectations, ensuring patient understanding and doing everything in my ability to accomplish the best patient outcomes is my mission. I am extremely excited to have been given the opportunity to come on board and work at Nevada Orthopedics.
I was born and raised in Centennial, Colorado. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology with emphasis in Molecular and Cellular Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado in Boulder. After graduating, I worked in Neuromonitoring, where I assisted in the care of patients with spine pathology that needed surgical intervention. I then attended Touro University in Vallejo, CA where I was the Vice President of my class and achieved a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and Master of Public Health. I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to La Paz, Bolivia to complete my field study.
After graduating from Touro in 2011, I relocated to Reno, NV, where I have been practicing ever since. I am a member of the Nevada Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. I am certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
I enjoy spending time in the outdoors including skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, camping, hunting, fishing, and rock climbing. Most of all, I love spending time with my husband and daughter. I have grown very attached to Reno and the wonderful people that reside here. I look forward to my future with Nevada Orthopedics and being able to participate in providing you with the best care possible.
